Arizona's state reptile is kind of a scary one 😬 The Arizona ridge-nosed rattlesnake is venomous and stays pretty tiny—usually growing no longer than 24 inches—but not as harmful as other rattlesnakes. No human deaths have been attributed to this kind of snake, although bites are still painful and must be treated. It lives in southern Arizona's Huachuca, Patagonia, and Santa Rita Mountains.
