Sawdust, glue, and clamps! Nice way to spend a Wednesday! I get a lot of questions about how I do the stars on my flags- I used to carve them individually which is a wonderful method, but tedious and time consuming. Now, I use my laser to create templates based on size and use adhesive veneer. I’m partial to the hand done way, but find the cost savings to make these kinds of things more accessible price wise.
