(recipe makes an 8x8 pan) Ingredients: ~2 packs of pillsbury christmas sugar cookies (I used 25 for the bottom of the pan and 9 for the top, and had some leftovers) 16 oz (454g) cream cheese, softened (block style, not spreadable) ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar 2 Tbsp (30g) sour cream 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tbsp all-purpose flour Pinch of salt (optional) 1 large egg, room temp 2 tbsp christmas sprinkles (jimmies)

Rolled sugar cookies: cream together 4 sticks unsalted butter with 1 1/2 c sugar and 1/2 c powdered sugar for 5 minutes. Add 2 large eggs, 2 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp almond extract, stir in 6 cups all purpose flour, 1 tsp salt and 2 T cornstarch. Divide into 3/4 discs, wrap in plastic and refrigerate for an hour or a few days. Roll out and cut into shapes, bake at 350 until edges are crisp.
