Raigad-based wildlife researcher and photographer Shantanu Kuveskar recently documented Indian Ocean Humpback Dolphins off the Raigad coast during a weekend fishing trip. Known to frequent Maharashtra’s shallow coastal waters, these dolphins are occasionally spotted by fishermen and tourists, though experts say sightings are not very frequent.
