Oct 23, 2024 · Now with the new Smart thermostats it is a much better and easier process. For years we had a Honeywell Smart thermostat and liked it. When we replaced our AC unit this year they installed the Ecobee thermostat. I like it better than the Honeywell for many reasons and it has a lot more features and is very easy to use. So yes update it.

Nov 21, 2013 · I chose the Honeywell over the Nest for the better LCD screen and a few of the features. I am able the check [and change] the temperature in the home from anywhere in the world via my iPhone or iPad. It's also easy to change between heat and A/C.

Oct 26, 2024 · As we have a separate Honeywell Relative Humidity Controller set at 60 degrees, when the internal humidity exceeds this, then the Controller switches on the thermostat, which then starts the aircon, until the house comes back down to 60 degrees, then the thermostat is then switched off.

Oct 22, 2024 · I have a Carrier thermostat like yours, but I never turn on the dehumidify control. This control will overcool your house to about 3 degrees below the temperature setting, which will make the house too cold. I have never had an issue with high humidity. I have no idea what the Honeywell device is controlling.

Jun 30, 2009 · Bought a dehumidistat---the same one that MUNN's uses (Honeywell H46C). I have the Carrier thermostat FY4A. I want the parallel wiring hook-up.. Does anyone have simple instructions on how to install the dehumidistat? (it's ONLY two wires) I can't make heads or tails out of the instructions that came with it....

Nov 4, 2020 · I'm on my 2nd Honeywell and both were professionally installed. Munn's did mine here in the Villages. A must to have, especially for snowbirds. Can monitor temperature & humidity from afar...and make temp adjustments and/or switch from heat to A/C without being home. Can also see forecasts and outside temperature if hooked up properly.

Nov 11, 2020 · Munns installed WiFi Honeywell in my TV home. Works great and has a dehumidify away mode that lets you set the max humidity in your home when your up north over the summer. Humidity in my house never went above 60% over the summer.

Feb 5, 2022 · I much prefer the Honeywell because you can set it to a temperature and it doesn't try to out think you. Last fall when I was living here in FL and traveling to NJ for work about once every 6 weeks, I used my boss's NJ house up there to stay(he also lives in FL).

Aug 24, 2021 · Honeywell 16” by 25” by 1” filter for a 14 seer trane AC rated for about 2000 sq ft. Our 14 year old AC is working perfectly but was always maintained by Sunshine. The next HVAC we put in will have the special pollen and allergy filter not sure if it has UV but will cost about $750 just for the filter, according to Sunshine.
