Some of them still figure to be worn by the patrons at Honda Center next season and maybe beyond, but Trevor Zegras will no longer be on the ice for the Ducks, with general manager Pat Verbeek completing on Monday the trade that had been speculated, rumored, discussed, dreaded and maybe even fantasized about for many months, perhaps years.

The Ducks receive center Ryan Poehling, the 45th overall pick in this week’s draft, a 2026 pick and salary-cap flexibility.
