FBI officials say there was "no threat" in an incident that prompted a plane flying out of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to be diverted Wednesday afternoon to El Paso International Airport in Texas.

Law enforcement, including FBI El Paso, responded to the scene late Wednesday afternoon to investigate, but found no threat.

A Sun Country Airlines flight departing from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was diverted to El Paso, Texas due to a threatening note found on the aircraft, the FBI said.
