A 54-year-old man wearing body armor and carrying a rifle led Houston police on a dangerous chase near Audrey Law Middle School last month, according to police, with newly released dashcam and bodycam footage showing officers firing their weapons before taking the suspect into custody.

A teenager is facing a capital murder charge following a fatal shooting in April, Grand Prairie police said. Keionn Winters, 18, was arrested on May 27 in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Jose Luis Flores, according to police.

HOUSTON — Police said one man was shot in a parking garage near the Galleria Tuesday afternoon. He later died. Three people were detained in the shooting for questioning but later released, police said.
