The NBA's Opening Night for the 2025-26 season promises to be quite the exciting spectacle for fans, with two legends clashing and a Kevin Durant OKC visit.

Two of the biggest days of the year in the NBA regular season are opening night and Christmas Day, and Friday we learned the matchups we will see on both nights, courtesy of ESPN's Shams Charania.  The NBA will send the new-look Rockets,

The opening night festivities will take place on the new edition of NBA on NBC on Oct. 21. Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets will meet the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder on ring night to start the season, per Charania. The Warriors and Lakers will end the opening night doubleheader.
