Edwards Lifesciences rose 5.5% after likewise topping Wall Street’s expectations for profit in the latest quarter. It said it saw strength across all its product groups, and it expects profit for the full year to come in at the high end of the forecasted range it had given earlier.

U.S. stock index futures ticked higher Thursday evening, extending optimism after record closes for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq fueled by Alphabet’s strong quarterly results and upbeat AI outlook.

Wall Street moves higher on Friday as investors digest the previous session’s record-setting finishes for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite. The blue-chip Dow (DJI) has advanced by 0.4% as it continues to eye its own record high.

The S&P 500 on Thursday registered it’s 15th record high of the year.
