Kneecap played their first gigs since member Mo Chara was charged with a terror offense this week, alleging that authorities tried to cancel the shows.

Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, 27, who goes by the stage name Mo Chara, was charged May 21 with a terrorism offense, according to a release from the U.K.'s Metropolitan Police.

The Irish rap trio has previously denounced Hamas and Hezbollah, which are both designated terrorist organizations in the United Kingdom
