Missouri football suffers blowout loss to Texas A&M in must-win spot
Missouri football, playing without its top two quarterbacks because of injury and needing a miracle to keep its grandest ambitions alive, sputtered and stumbled on its home field Saturday, losing 38-17 to Texas A&M on Faurot Field in Columbia.
Texas A&M went into Columbia with, maybe, some outside nerves about an upset taking place. Those got squashed well before the clock hit zero in the fourth quarter, taking care of business against Missouri.
The SEC is home to the only other ranked matchup in Week 11, as No. 3 Texas A&M travels to face No. 19 Missouri. The Tigers are still trying to keep their head above water while the Aggies are trying to protect their status as one of just four remaining undefeated FBS teams.
