LSU baseball couldn't recapture the late-game magic from game one and dropped the second game of the series, setting up rubber match Sunday.

Despite the series loss, D1 Baseball still has the Tigers ranked as the third best team in the country. They came into the week as the No. 2 team, but were only jumped by the Florida State Seminoles, who took two games against the Clemson Tigers this past weekend.
