Holi festivities have become common In New Jersey, where about 5% of the population is of Indian origin and some school districts have added the day to their calendar of holidays.

Holi is predominantly celebrated in India and Nepal. But the festival is also celebrated in other Asian and Western countries as well owing to the presence of Indian diaspora in these regions.

For this year’s Holi Festival on March 28 and 29, Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin has created multicolored cocktails to represent the traditional colors used in the Hindu celebration.

The IAT's Holi Festival is Saturday, April 6 at the Grove Winery in Gibsonville and the fun begins at 12 p.m. Admission is free IAT members. Non-members can purchase tickets for $20 here.
