Neb., is among three members of Congress seeking answers from Elon Musk and his xAI Corp. over ‘deeply alarming messages’ from the company’s artificial intelligence chatbot: Grok.

When Elon Musk’s Grok AI chatbot began spewing out antisemitic responses to several queries on X last week, some users were shocked.

AI owner Elon Musk made some big claims about Grok’s capability, saying it was “better than PhD level in every subject.”

Grok, the chatbot developed by the Elon Musk-founded company xAI, has removed what it called "inappropriate" social media posts after complaints from X users and the Anti-Defamation League that Grok produced content with antisemitic tropes and praise for Adolf Hitler.

Elon Musk’s AI firm apologized after the Grok chatbot posted anti-Semitic content, blaming deprecated code that made it mirror hateful X posts.

xAI says it’s ‘actively working to remove’ posts by the AI chatbot.

The social media platform has previously been found to have breached the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA) but has yet to face any fines.

The incident follows a previous issue with Grok last week, which began responding with hate-filled speech to users on X.
