A gas line explosion at a North Carolina veterinary office caught on camera sent at least three firefighters to a hospital after a hit-and-run driver ruptured a line and fled.

A hit-and-run driver crashed into a North Carolina veterinary clinic on Tuesday, causing a gas explosion that left three firefighters injured, authorities said.

State news agency RIA Novosti has reported that a gunpowder workshop at the facility caught fire and triggered an explosion.

Albemarle County Fire Rescue held a press conference at 12:30 p.m. on August 20 to provide new details on a house explosion the day before that killed one and left one injured.

The Winston-Salem Police Department and Fire Department said they're responding to what was described as a "large vehicle fire" on University Parkway. It is not clear what led to the fire.
