A newly discovered asteroid named 2024 YR4 now has a 2.2% chance of affecting Earth in 2032 after recent observations.

The latest calculations show that the asteroid known as "2024 YR4" has an increased chance of striking our planet in Dec.

The potential impact would occur on Dec. 22, 2032. It’s much too soon to know where it might land if it did hit Earth.
