Women's basketball fans filled American Airlines Center on Friday night to watch Paige Bueckers' Dallas Wings play Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever. The Fever announced just hours before tipoff that Clark would not play because of a groin injury.

The first professional matchup between Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark is officially sold out, the Dallas Wings announced on Thursday. The matchup dubbed “ A Night In Dallas ” between Dallas Wings and the Indiana Fever at American Airlines Center is the fifth sellout of 2025 for the Wings, and fourth of the regular season.

A systems outage temporarily grounded some planes on Friday, causing headaches for both crew and passengers around the United States.

American Airlines flights have resumed after a system outage grounded flights. Multiple reports on social media said planes were unable to take off because of technical problems. According to reports on X, one pilot said he couldn't sign the maintenance form to be cleared for takeoff because his computer was not working.

American Airlines issued a statement apologizing for flight delays after the airline encountered "technology issues" on some of its systems.
