U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday Israel would have to make a decision on next steps in Gaza, adding that he did not know what would happen after the collapse of ceasefire and hostage-release negotiations with the Hamas militant group.

Operations in parts of the enclave were put on hold to allow more aid into the enclave, the Israeli military said. It was unclear if the decision would relieve the hunger crisis.
