This month's hottest new routes reflect major airlines expanding their presence at Austin's airport. There are also a number of eagerly anticipated European routes, including Madrid, Munich, and Oslo.

This is the first international route that Delta has operated locally since 2011 when it previously flew to Mexico.

Delta Air Lines will launch its first international route from Austin in 14 years this December. Nonstop flights from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Cancun will begin Dec. 20. The seasonal route will continue through mid-April 2026,
