The release date was listed as August 28th on the game's PlayStation page. It has since been taken down and replaced with the vague "2025" but it still appears at the end of a trailer that leaked alongside the date. You can watch it by inspecting this mossy URL that looks a bit too human-shaped.

The trailer ends with a really quite upsetting depiction an Ape Escape monkey slapping its butt. From this we can assume, as Eurogamer did for me, that this indicates the return of the Snake vs Monkey minigame, for completion’s sake.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was first unveiled by publisher Konami back in May 2023, with sprinkles of details since then. There hasn’t been an official release date for the game, beyond the 2025 window. Now though, in an apparent leak via an official source, we may have a date to mark on our calendars.
