Quinn Ewers is out, and Arch Manning is in. With Ewers headed to the NFL as a seventh-round pick of the Miami Dolphins, Manning – the nephew of two Super Bowl -winning quarterbacks – is now the starting guy in Austin.

The Texas Longhorns are expected to be a powerhouse in the 2025 season, led by exciting young quarterback Arch Manning. Not everybody is necessarily buying the hype, however.

From the time that Arch Manning committed to Texas three years ago as the top prospect in the Class of 2023, it was always a question of when, and not if, he would emerge as the Longhorns' starter. Most players of his caliber don't typically have to wait long, especially when they belong to the greatest quarterbacking bloodline in football history.
