North Korea may deploy additional troops to Russia to fight in the war against Ukraine in July or August and Pyongyang is continuing to supply arms to Russia, South Korean lawmakers said on Thursday,

South Korea's spy agency says North Korea’s planned dispatch of thousands of military construction workers and deminers to Russia’s Kursk region will likely take place as early as July or August.

Russia may be preparing for a major summer offensive in Ukraine and could involve about 6,000 North Korean army soldiers in combat operations, reports Sky News. South Korean lawmaker Lee Seong-kweun stated that North Korea has begun recruiting soldiers to be sent to Russia.
