Firefighters are still battling to fully contain the Mines Spung Wildfired in Burlington County, officials said.

The Mines Spung wildfire inside Wharton State Forest in Shamong Township is around 80% contained but is still threatening some structures, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.

The blaze, dubbed the Mines Spung Wildfire, had burned through 4,200 acres at Wharton State Forest and was 40% contained as of 8:30 a.m. Saturday, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service said in an update.
