The Washington Commanders have finally come to an agreement with second-round draft pick Trey Amos and have now locked in its full 2025 NFL draft class. The entire league has been trying to figure out how to sign their second round picks after the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns gave their respective second round picks fully-guaranteed contracts for the first time in NFL history.
Another second-round pick has agreed to terms on his rookie deal. According to multiple reports, cornerback Trey Amos has agreed to a four-year pact with the Commanders. Amos was the 61st overall selection in April.
Terry McLaurin is one of the most polarizing contract holdouts this offseason, and it's only heating up with Commanders training camp opening July 22. You can see from both sides why a deal has not been struck yet.
