Boston Red Sox relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman cleared the confusion surrounding his interaction with San Francisco's Wilmer Flores on Friday.

The Friday night confrontation between Aroldis Chapman and the Giants’ Wilmer Flores — who had to be separated as the dugouts began to clear — following the final out of the Sox’ win apparently stemmed from Flores’s behavior in the batter’s box.

The ninth inning of Friday's game between the Boston Red Sox and San Francisco Giants was largely uneventful, with the exception of a moment between Aroldis Chapman and Wilmer Flores.
