American sprinter Kenny Bednarek labelled Noah Lyles "unsportsmanlike" after their heated 200 metres showdown at the USA Track & Field Championships almost led to blows on Sunday.

Kenny Bednarek accused Noah Lyles of being "unsportsmanlike" after the two clashed at the end of the men's 200-meter final at the 2025 USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships on Sunday in Eugene, Oregon.

In the 200m final, Lyles overtook Bednarek in the final strides by four hundredths and looked over at Bednarek as he crossed the finish line. Bednarek then shoved Lyles in the back before they came to a stop. The two men then had a short chat and shook hands.
