The Commonwealth Games 2026 drew to a close in Glasgow on Sunday with powerful closing ceremony at the Hydro. With Ahmedabad set to host the next edition in 2030, the baton was officially passed with India's Neeraj Chopra accepting the Commonwealth flag before handing it over to IOA chief PT Usha and then Gujarat Dy CM Harsh Sanghvi.
The closing ceremony at the Glasgow Hydro featured performances by Simple Minds, Cammy Barnes and Mop Man.

The segment is part of the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony and will take place on August 2 as part of the international celebration that welcomes Ahmedabad for the centenary edition.
