SSI recipients were scheduled to get two checks in May – one on May 1 (the check for May 2025) and a second is coming on May 30 (the check for June). For months when the first of the month falls on a federal holiday or a weekend, SSI benefits are issued early – June 1 is a Sunday.

The Supplemental Security Income checks schedule is a little weird for June. Recipients won't get a check in June, but they will still get paid. Why is that? It's the way the pay dates fall on the calendar.
