According to the odds at DraftKings as of July 8, the Los Angeles Clippers have emerged as the most likely team to acquire veteran SG Bradley Beal.

The team that won 50 games last season is more talented now, but it’s also substantially older than other potential contenders – which leads to questions.

Things haven't gone as planned for Bradley Beal in Phoenix, where a "Big 3" with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant was supposed to make the Suns a title contender but resulted in just one playoff appearance in two years and a first-round sweep.

The Los Angeles Clippers’ latest move did not move the team any closer to its first NBA title in franchise history. After being bought out by the Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles signed veteran Bradley Beal to a two-year $11 million contract.

Thus far this offseason, the Lakers have added Deandre Ayton and Jake LaRavia in free agency, but have lost Dorian Finney-Smith to the Houston Rockets. Beal joining their crosstown rival only strengthens one of their bigger competitors in the Western Conference.

Ultimately, the Suns will be more intrigued with any offer that gets Bradley Beal off their hands, too. That could involve a three-team trade with a team like the Nets, which could take on Beal's contract and receive other assets in return.
