Coaching upheaval has become a staple of the NFL. Even before the season begins, seven coaches already could be on the hot seat.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported on Tuesday that Ewers has been working with former Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy. Pelissero relayed that McCarthy has been impressed with the QB through hours of conversations in recent weeks.

Mike McCarthy is no longer at the helm of the Dallas Cowboys' coaching staff, but he is keeping himself busy in helping Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers prepare for his session at the NFL Combine.
