The Colts have found their next defensive backs coach. Word last week was that they were targeting Jerome Henderson for the job and Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com reports that they will be hiring him. Henderson joins new defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo on head coach Shane Steichen's staff in Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Colts hired Statesville native Jerome Henderson to their coaching staff Friday. Henderson joins the team’s revamped defensive staff led by coordinator Lou Anarumo. Henderson was named defensive backs coach.
According to a report from CBS Sports, the Colts are “targeting” another veteran defensive backs coach to join Lou Anarumo’s staff.
Following the 2024 season, the Indianapolis Colts decided they needed a change on the defensive side of the ball, so they parted ways with defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.
