On Tuesday, the team locked up another piece of the puzzle, signing forward Jesper Boqvist to a two-year contract extension. The deal comes with a very team-friendly average annual value (AAV) of $1.5 million, which is a nice raise for Boqvist, who signed a one-year deal worth $775,000 with Florida back on July 1.
SUNRISE, Fla. – Aleksander Barkov scored a pair of goals and Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves as the Florida Panthers held on for a 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amerant Bank Arena on Monday. Improving to 38-21-3, the Panthers ended the Lightning’s winning streak at eight games.
Standing tall over his last eight starts, Bobrovsky is 6-2-0 with a .928 save percentage.
