As Cena was in the ring ordering announcer Mark Nash to properly introduce him to the crowd, a bottle was thrown that bounced on the canvas and hit the undisputed WWE champion on his kneepad. Fan footage from the opposite angle showed the person who threw the bottle and security quickly coming over to take him out of the arena.
