After Sunday's 129-105 win at the Washington Wizards, Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton praised guard Tyrese Martin's work ethic and his bench impact.

Michael Porter Jr. scored 34 points and Tyrese Martin added 20 as the Nets sent the Wizards to their 11th straight loss, 129-106 Sunday night.

Brooklyn will look to break its seven-game home skid when the Nets take on New York. Monday's game is the second meeting of the season between the two teams.

The Brooklyn Nets waived Drew Timme and Dariq Whitehead on Oct. 13. The roster now stands at 16 standard contract players and a pair of two-way contract players. Waiving Whitehead signaled that the Nets wouldn't hand out roster spots solely based on age.
