Despite the frustration from fans and criticism from team owners about an unfair playing field, people who work across MLB don't seem to have any issues with the Los Angeles Dodgers trading for Tarik Skubal.

The Dodgers did not need an ace. They had one in Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who was an absolute master last fall as he was leading Los Angeles to its second straight World Series title.

With all of his pitches humming, Skubal had retired eight in a row before a one-out walk to Seiya Suzuki.
