Chicago Sky star Angel Reese will have to wait another week to see if she’s selected as an All-Star for the second consecutive season. The second-year forward was not one of the 10 starters named Monday for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game on July 19 in Indianapolis.

The Most Outstanding Player of the 2023 NCAA tournament burst onto the WNBA scene with a record-setting rookie campaign for the Chicago Sky in 2024, before suffering a season-ending wrist injury. In 2025, Reese became the first player to grab 15-plus rebounds in four straight games.

"GOOD MORNING SKYTOWN," the team shared in the post on X. Reese re-shared the image in her Instagram stories, adding no words for the post. The Sky forward has not always had such great interactions with fans, with allegations that one used "hateful" comments toward her during a game against the Indiana Fever earlier this season.
