I recently revisited Google's NotebookLM and was impressed by how far it's come. It was already good, but going back to it and using it as a tool rather than a thing to play around with has made it indispensable to me.

The high-powered research assistant has been released as a standalone Android app, and an iOS version is on the way.

Google had already told us that mobile versions of the AI-powered NotebookLM research tool were on the way, and now they've appeared in the app stores for Android and iOS – just in time for the big Google I/O 2025 show later today.
