A minke whale died Saturday in a Jersey Shore bay a short time after videos showed it collide with a boat, nearly capsizing the vessel and throwing a person overboard.

A 20-foot-long Minke whale has died after it collided and nearly capsized a pleasure boat in New Jersey's Barnegat Bay on Saturday.

The whale that died in a boat accident at the Jersey Shore on Saturday was found to be in a thin body condition and had external cuts and trauma.
