While no major votes are expected to take place at this week’s quarterly MLB owners meetings in New York, commissioner Rob Manfred did discuss President Donald Trump’s influence on the Pete Rose and “Shoeless” Joe Jackson reinstatement,

The MLB commissioner said that he took into account the opinion of Trump, with whom he met at the White House, in deciding to grant Rose a path to the Hall of Fame.
