Three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer is expected to be activated from the 60-day injured list to make his second start of the season for the Blue Jays.

Scherzer, who's been out since late March with thumb inflammation on his pitching hand, recently told Sportsnet that he'll be activated in time to face the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday.
