Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats finished up the regular season on Saturday with a massive road win over #15 Missouri, locking up the number six seed in the SEC Tournament. The Wildcats finished the season 21-10 overall and 10-8 in SEC play.

This game marked a significant step forward for the young Wildcats, as they continue to find their footing at the collegiate level. With the SEC Tournament fast approaching, Kentucky will need contributions from every player on the roster, and the freshmen proved they’re ready to shoulder more responsibility.

Following a frustrating finish to the 2023-24 college basketball season, John Calipari stepped down as the Kentucky Wildcats head coach after 15 wildly successful years. He might've only won one national championship with Kentucky, but Calipari went 410-123 as a Wildcat overall, and consistently had his team in championship contention.
