Nifty witnessed profit booking in yesterday's session, falling more than 400 points from intraday highs and closing near the session's low.

A net 42% of fund managers surveyed by Bank of America (BofA) preferred India over other regional markets, placing it ahead of Japan (39%), China (6%), and Singapore (3%).

Stocks in Pakistan and India surged on Monday following a ceasefire agreement between the two nuclear-armed neighbors on Saturday. Pakistan’s KSE-30 Index jumped by 9.2%, while India’s Nifty 500 Index soared as much as 3%.
