Marlen Reusser has described the tactical duel with Demi Vollering on the slopes of Mont Ventoux as "really stupid from both of us", as the pair let Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney sail away to the stage win and the yellow jersey at the Tour de France Femmes.
Demi Vollering said Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney "is not the one who can really say something about [fair play]", after the Canyon-Sram rider accused Vollering's team-mate of blocking her on stage eight of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
After Saturday's Tour de France drama Demi Vollering was not inclined to speak on the incident between rival Kasia Niewiadoma and teammate Célia Gery.
