Western WA bracing for more stormy weather, flooding

On Monday at 1:55 p.m. a winter weather advisory was released by the NWS Seattle WA valid from Tuesday 4 p.m. until Wednesday 10 p.m. The advisory is for Cascades of Southern King County, Cascades of Pierce and Lewis counties and Olympics.
Between Snohomish PUD and Puget Sound Energy, more than 45,000 customers were without power just before 3 p.m. Over 25,000 of those were PSE customers, including a large portion of the Kitsap Peninsula. The Snohomish PUD outages included parts of Everett, Marysville, and Arlington.
Certain areas south of Seattle and east of the Green River were ordered to evacuate after a levee was breached in Tukwila, Washington on Monday, Dec. 15.
Flood Watch issued for parts of Washington including Clallam and King counties due to forecasted heavy rainfall.
Western Washington woke up Monday to intense rain blasting through the region. Multiple rounds of heavy rain and wind are expected in the beginning of the week. Power outages and tree damage are possible.
