Public approval of President Donald Trump’s approach to immigration has dropped to its lowest level since his return to the White House, as Americans express a growing unease with his aggressive enforcement tactics.

Hispanic voters have long served as a crucial and growing demographic in national elections, traditionally supporting Democratic candidates.

The Economist showed that Trump has a national net approval rating of -12% and a New Jersey net approval rating of -20.6%, both as of July 14. In general, there has been an increase in Trump’s disapproval ratings since last month.
