One of Tampa’s most crowded single-seat elections is finally over, and Naya Young is headed for Tampa City Hall.
Grassroots activist Naya Young has been elected to the Tampa City Council. The first-time candidate defeated Thomas Scott, who previously held local office in both the city and Hillsborough County. Young secured 61% of the vote.
