A Powerball ticket sold in Northern California fell just one number short of winning the $70 million jackpot, lottery officials said. Instead, the lucky ticket won $470,739. The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the Powerball in the drawing Wednesday, May 13, the California State Lottery said.
