Over the decades, people have managed to get the original Doom to run on all sorts of interesting devices, and a fan ports the game to Notepad.
A developer has managed to get Doom 1993 up and running in Notepad and it might be available to the public soon.
The game's graphics are not great, but the environments and music stand out. The developer claims that DOOM may be run without any modifications to the default operating system Notepad.
The Notepad app has not been modded in any way, says Chiet. "Incredible," John Romero, one of the creators of Doom, says in a tweet responding to Chiet.
Thankfully, the game is so old that it can run on pretty much anything. As YouYuber Samperson (Sam Chiet) demonstrates, the game will run on Notepad.
