Lions head coach Dan Campbell praised his former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson's coaching staff with the Bears.

Former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is looking for pass rush help in Chicago, while Minnesota is still deciding on a QB for 2025.

Campbell worked closely with Glenn the previous nine seasons. "AG's a superstar," Campbell said at the NFL Combine.

Both coaches are currently in Indianapolis for the NFL Scouting Combine, and when speaking with the media, Campbell revealed the key three words necessary for success he gave both Johnson and his former defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, who was hired as the head coach of the New York Jets.

Dan Campbell referred to the reshaping of his coaching staff as “phase two” of finding the right fits. And from naming John Morton as offensive coordinator to Kelvin Sheppard as defensive coordinator and all the new assistants, Campbell is confident he once again found the right fits for Detroit.

The NFL has gone through some rule changes in recent history and they tend to adopt some of the rules that are tried out in the UFL first. For example, last season the NFL changed its kick-off rules in favor of going with the UFL's design.
